The cover artwork for "Watershed", the forthcoming album from Swedish metallers OPETH, can be viewed at this location. Those thinking this new album is going to be their most Metal album yet will be disappointed. The discs themselves come in anti-static sleeves so that is always a nice touch. The cover was (as usual) designed by Travis Smith in co-operation with frontman/guitarist Mikael kerfeldt.
The 5.1 mix is good and can be most enjoyable with a proper soundsystem, the bonus tracks are interesting there is one where Akerfeldt sings in swedish! Reviewed in the United Kingdom on November 18, 2018 It has been 8 long years since MOV last released an Opeth recording on vinyl (Blackwater Park) but Watershed seemed the obvious choice for the next of theirs to re-press since it was such a pivotal record in the band’s career and the original 2008 vinyl is hard to find.
i read an article on Opeth in the superb magazine Prog they sounded interesting i got Watershed from my local library to have a listen to see what i thought i must say i was impressed i like lots of different styles of music & most of them seemed to be on this album! New album, In Cauda Venenum, out now via Moderbolaget Records / Nuclear Blast.

I had been wanting to snag this but people are selling their copies for 100-300 dollars so I’m glad it has been repressed, especially with the gold colored records which is a nice touch. While I do not think of "Watershed" as their finest hour, Opeth have crafted an intelligent Progressive Rock/Metal album that continues with the direction of their previous album "Ghost Reveries" but incorporates more Rock than Metal this time around. The packaging is pretty awefull though ... roadrunner did a bad and bored work with this packaging cause the paper of the packaging is too soft and not sturdy at all!
