I use specialized rifles (one Incendiary, one AP, etc) but for the most part stick to either the Advanced or Special Carbine.The MKII special carbine will work better at long range, it has a much lower bloom on its shots, so multiple headshots at long range are far more likely.The advanced rifle starts to spread after 6 shots, where as the MKII special carbine spreads after 14. If you’re looking for an alternative, the Bullpup Rifle has exactly the same stats.Some higher level players prefer the Advanced Rifle because it has an increased fire-rate over the standard Carbine, but it’s less accurate and the extra rounds-per-minute don’t compensate for the drop-off in damage.The Advanced Rifle debate is an odd one, because many, illogically, see it as the preferred option. Will make the gun reload twice as faster.Assault SMG: As I've said already it's the best in the class and can/beats most other classes on the same situtations.Special Carbine: accuracy and headshots might make it a way to go. The club, but it needs upgrading and at least CEO warehouse, gunrunning and coke lab set up. The first is based on one-shot kills. It also has a slightly greater range.
