Of course I would have loved to hear more of my favorite songs but their set seemed longer just because of the feel.My first time see Bastille and the premise that they are amazing live did not disappoint!!
Bastille was everything I hoped and dreamed they would be. You can't expect anything less from a band who had the second most downloaded/streamed song in 2013. Amazing vocals and acoustics, gorgeous theatre, and just an uplifting experience that everyone should experience with these guys.
It has been my favorite theater to see them perform: beautiful! My takeaways from this show is that from their performance, I will definitely be seeing them again and againHigh-tempo, fast-paced (for the most part) misery pop.
From start to finish, Dan really impressed us all with his ability to control his voice while jumping up and down and moving around on the stage.

All of them play roles in the music and the performance. There are some sound equipment issue that I hope next time it will improve. It's crazy how good his voice was; he sounded exactly like their audio recordings. I ended up going back up halfway into the show to bring them my coat because might as well if I had to get my umbrella anyway. I highly recommend that anyone see these bands as much as possible.We went to see Bastille perform at the Patriot Center on October 11th. The band was fantastic, the lead singer's vocals were perfect, the flawless acoustics of the venue made his voice all the more haunting and resonating. Get your tour dates seen by one billion fans: It was their first night of the Bad Blood 2014 tour in the U.S., so I think they were as excited for us as we were for them.They opened with "Things We Lost in the Fire," and played big hits like "Weight of Living, Part II," "Bad Blood," "The Draw," "Poet," "These Streets," "Icarus," "Pompeii" (obviously), and went down into more somber songs like "Overjoyed," "Get Home," and "Oblivion." My teenagers were astounded that there was a moment when Dan was moving through the crowd as he sang (something he also did at last year's show), and they were concerned for his safety. The second you walk into the arena, the show starts.
About the show, I can only say that it was amazing, as always, and I really enjoyed being in 3rd row. if there was ac it really wasn’t working and there definitely wasn’t any fresh air coming in. Overall, great show! The night was perfect up until I had to get my UMBRELLA from coat check. Dan's humble nature really shined through as he genuinely thanked us after each song.
